Wednesday, 28 May 2025 — The Women's Affairs Department (JHEWA) paid a courtesy visit to Kota Kinabalu Women's Prison to discuss the JHEWACARE programme involving the institution.
TPP Rosliza binti Ishak, Deputy Director of Kota Kinabalu Women's Prison, welcomed the delegation on behalf of the institution's Director. It was led by Puan Dg Affifah Fatiah Awang Nohin, Assistant Director of Sabah's Advisory Services and Women's Legal Aid Centre Division, accompanied by five JHEWA officers.
It is hoped that the discussions will lead to implementation. JHEWA expresses its appreciation to Kota Kinabalu Women's Prison for receiving the visit and collaborating to support the prison's residents.
