Limbahau, 20 June 2025 — The Basket-Weaving Course organised by Sabah Women's Affairs Department (JHEWA) was successfully held over three days from 18 to 20 June 2025 in N.27 Limbahau. Twenty-nine participants attended intensive training from 8 am to 5 pm to improve their skills and creativity in traditional handicrafts.
The programme received an encouraging response and achieved its objective of developing skills and knowledge in producing quality woven baskets. Participants also shared experiences and deepened their understanding of traditional craft techniques, strengthening appreciation for local cultural heritage.
JEWA congratulates all participants and hopes that their skills will help raise the profile of local handicrafts.
